JOINT REPLACEMENTS

A Joint replacement is a major operation and needs appropriate rehabilitation

A joint replacement is a major surgery, the better condition the body is in prior to the surgery, the quicker the recovery afterwards.

We therefore, offer pre-and post joint replacement treatment options including individual therapy sessions and entry to our rehabilitation gym/classes. These are Bespoke plans dependent on individual need and budget.

Our Physiotherapists Carys and Natalie have all run post-operative rehabilitation programs for the NHS so are familiar with elective and non-elective surgery protocols.

Deep Oscillation is a fantastic way of reducing pain after surgery and increasing healing from Day 1 – we can offer this as therapist lead sessions, or self-treatment depending on individual need and budget.

We have very close links with local surgeons to make sure that we can help you to get the most from your surgery

Our treatment focusses on helping you to manage the pain of the surgery, restoring normal movement e.g. walking without a limp and helping you to get the most out of your new joint to get back to doing what you love!

Currently our group classes are not available due to Government Restrictions, but we are able to utilise the facilities in our Rehab Gym on a 121 basis with appropriate distancing and PPE.
